I was constantly worried about food, feeling guilty whenever I ate something “off plan,” and struggling with cravings that felt impossible to control.
And even though I had the knowledge about healthy eating and nutrition,
it still felt like I was constantly fighting my own body.
I still had to put in the work to rebuild trust in my body and shift my mindset around food.
Learning to break free from the restrictive cycle was the hardest part.
But once I did, it finally allowed me to find balance and freedom that didn’t rely on endless diets or rules.
Looking back, those first two years were brutal.
Late nights.
Hard work.
Stress.
I did exactly what they told me to do:
Count calories, avoid carbs, and follow strict meal plans.
And sure, I got some results.
I lost weight and felt accomplished at first.
But what no one told me was that these “solutions” would end up creating an even bigger problem...
After a while,
I was constantly thinking about food,
Feeling guilty when I didn’t follow the plan perfectly,
And eventually the cravings I tried ignoring would hit hard...
Leading me into a cycle of binging and restricting.
I realized that the plan I’d followed so perfectly had left me feeling exhausted, out of control, and more confused about food than ever.
I needed to find a way to heal my relationship with food for good and finally break free from this exhausting cycle.
That was my life and I was ready to quit.
But thankfully, I didn't...
